"Jitendra (Jeet) has shown a strong commitment to serving our diverse communities for more than a decade and nurturing young leaders. He founded the Harrisburg Multicultural Festival in 2019 and has proudly served as its Chair for six years, with a vision to connect diverse communities, share their rich traditions, and embrace both their differences and similarities. Jeet also dedicates his time to important organizations like the Harrisburg Arts, Culture, & Heritage Committee, the Harrisburg Racial Equity Task Force, and as a Board member at both the Harrisburg YMCA and the Cabarrus County Educational Foundation.
In 2018, Jeet co-founded Multicultural Knights with Jayin and Anisha, with a goal to empower youth, serve our communities, and support environmental sustainability. They have received the President's Volunteer Service Award for four years in a row for their selfless service."
