Our Journey
So Far

Environmental Sustainability

"Our Monthly Adopt-a-Park initiative has been a cornerstone of our journey, bringing the Multicultural Knights together to actively care for our adopted Stallings Park and Harrisburg Park. These efforts go beyond cleaning and maintenance—they spark discussions on green initiatives and drive our commitment to environmental sustainability.

In April, we celebrated Earth Day with renewed energy, launching innovative initiatives and spreading awareness to inspire others to join us in keeping the Earth safe and clean. Through these activities, we continue to make a lasting impact on our community and environment."

Cards & Cookies @First Responders

Every December, the Multicultural Knights spread the joy of the season with our cherished Holiday Cheer tradition.

Our Elf-Knights ride on their sleigh of appreciation from one fire station to another, dressed in festive Christmas attire, bringing warmth and gratitude to those who give their all to care for and protect our communities.

We Make – Heartfelt cards filled with appreciation.
We Bake – Delicious cookies to share joy and warmth.
We Thank – Our First Responders, Sheriff's Office, &Town Office Staff for their tireless service to our community throughout the year.

Through these simple yet meaningful acts of kindness, we aim to brighten the holiday season and inspire others to express their gratitude for the heroes who selflessly serve us all year long.

Food Drive

"Every April, as part of our Diversity Month celebrations, the Multicultural Knights organize a Food Drive to support the community & promote unity. Over the years, this tradition has made a significant impact on the Harrisburg Food Pantry, providing essential supplies. The donations have helped families in need, fostering a stronger, more compassionate community. Additionally, our efforts have inspired other organizations to organize similar food drives, amplifying the impact and encouraging a wider culture of giving & support."

Festive Season Fundraiser for

Make-A-Wish Foundation

"As part of our yearly tradition, the Multicultural Knights organized a festive season fundraiser in support of the Make-A-Wish Foundation, raising an incredible $1,100. Our Knights set up booths at various community events, including Allen Mills Dhandiya, Harrisburg Friends of Telangana - Bathukamma, CMM Sakal, CMM Diwali, CKB Rajyotsava, as well as Thanksgiving and Christmas celebrations. It was heartwarming to see all the communities come together to support this initiative by allowing the Knights to set up booths free of charge. Special thanks to the Gujarati, Telugu, Marathi Mandal, Kannada Balaga, and everyone who participated, contributed, and supported this effort. Through their dedication and hard work, the Knights raised funds that will make wishes come true for children in need. This effort not only brought joy to those we served but also demonstrated the power of community, highlighting the true spirit of giving during the holiday season."
